I’m an international showjumper in my first year as senior from Merksplas in Belgium. I was only 2 years old when I got my first pony as my sisters where already riding and my dad rode regional shows. So my family always had horses but had nothing with the international sport. Now I’m building on my own stable together with my parents and my twin brother.
I jumped the Europeans with a pony we got from when she was a foal. After that I moved on to the juniors. From my young riders my good horse was old enough to jump the bigger classes and last year I won the Belgian championship and got 5th at the Eu CH for young riders.
Now it’s time to move on to the seniors. I already had a good 5* debute last year in Mechelen and with the support of the YRA I hope to build further on this. I’m really happy to be part of this years Young Riders Academy. I hope to learn a lot from all the amazing trainers, make a lot of connections and get some opportunities to ride nice shows. So I can develop my skills that are necessary to step up to the highest level of our sport.
